CEO Duke Rodriguez says he has a lot of work to do at the facility, but he hopes to open it in late 2021 or early 2022. He says he expects to hire 200 employees in the first year of operation and plans to expand his business by adding new products, including CBD-based medicines. The company is currently working with regulators to complete licensing and get the property ready for use.
The company is also seeking approval to build a research center on the property, as well as a new building in Albuquerque.
