Patients who want to buy medical marijuana must pay a $25 fee and visit one of the state’s twenty public health offices. If approved, they will receive a registry card with their physician’s recommendations.
Smoking Marijuana
Georgia is one of the few states in the country that does not allow the legal use of recreational marijuana. However, it has a medical marijuana law that allows qualified patients to use up to 20 fluid ounces of low THC oil.
