LivWell is a company that specializes in the cultivation of marijuana. It is also known for its use of the LiveWell health and wellness app to help users monitor their health and wellness. Currently, LivWell is expanding its cultivation operations by opening a new facility that is nearly 140,000 square feet.
Marijuana Strains Are Continuously Cultivated
There is a wide range of marijuana strains available on the market. The potency of each variety varies greatly. Some strains are fast growers while others are more resistant to droughts.
Legal marijuana growers are regulated to ensure the quality of their products. However, cannabis is still illegal in most countries. Whether or not you use cannabis, there are many potential health risks. For example, you may suffer from anxiety, dry mouth, paranoia, elevated heart rate, and impaired coordination.
LivWell is a Colorado-based retail chain that offers a wide range of marijuana products. With over fourteen dispensaries in the state and fifteen more in Oregon, it’s easy to find a place to purchase high-quality cannabis.
Marijuana Is Recalled Over Mold And Yeast Concerns
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has issued a health and safety advisory over mold and yeast concerns involving cannabis flower. This is not the first time that the state has issued a health advisory for a contaminated marijuana product.
A Denver-based marijuana cultivation business has voluntarily recalled products. The company, called Bonsai Cultivation, recalled several different products. These include pre-rolls, shake, and flower. In addition, they are updating their Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs.
The product recall is triggered by mold and yeast issues. Bonsai’s marijuana has high counts of both, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Yeast and mold contamination can be harmful to immunocompromised people.
LiveWell App Helps You Manage Your Health And Wellness
It’s not always easy to stay healthy, and having a handy app at your disposal can make the task a little easier. For example, Live Well and Virgin Pulse are two apps that can help you make the most of your healthcare dollar. Their flagship offerings offer a wealth of wellness and medical information. This includes free flu shots, biometric screenings and health fairs. Using the app’s virtual office, you can even schedule a video visit with your doc.
The LiveWell app has a variety of features, but the most exciting is its snazzy mobile healthcare concierge. Regardless of your location, you can access your medical records, view test results and schedule appointments.
PharmaCann Acquired LivWell In 2022
PharmaCann, the largest vertically integrated cannabis company in the United States, has announced plans to acquire LivWell Enlightened Health. This merger will bring the company closer to its goal of becoming the largest cannabis retail and cultivation company in the world.
With its acquisition, PharmaCann will gain access to the thriving Colorado market and Michigan’s burgeoning market. The two companies will also combine their respective expertise in cannabinoid-based products, manufacturing, and cultivation. Both firms have already proven themselves as top-flight companies, and now they will have the added advantage of each other’s knowledge and a shared customer base.
In addition to the acquisition, the company has also received a $110 million investment from the Cronos Group. This is a large sum of money, but given the size of the operation, it is not a surprise that the deal has caused a buzz among the cannabis community.

The good folks at LivWell have made it their mission to re-embark on the good old days of yore, and have a new lease on life if you will. The company has 13 retail stores, a couple of cultivation facilities and an evergrowing staff of zealous horticulturists who will take you to the stars and back. Some of you are probably wondering what the hell they are doing to your credit card. Well, you might just have to ask them, right?
As you might have guessed, they are not the only ones in the fray, but you will find they all share one common denominator.
LivWell’s Cultivation Site Will Add Further Capacity To Its Nearly 140,000-Square Foot Grow Site
LivWell is one of the largest vertically integrated marijuana distributors in Colorado. The firm has a dozen retail locations in the state, as well as two cultivation facilities and a 22,000 square foot research and development facility. Its cultivation and processing facility uses LED artificial grow lights that consume less energy.
LivWell’s indoor cannabis growing rooms feature 30- to 40-foot ceilings and state-of-the-art LED lighting. Each plant is electronically tagged to track its progress through the seed-to-sale process. In addition, the company has a security and compliance team that oversees inventory control at its dispensaries.
LivWell has an aggressive growth plan, including the construction of large-scale indoor cannabis-growing rooms in both Oregon and Colorado. The company expects to expand its production by as much as 80 percent. However, it still faces some challenges. Among them are financing and tax hurdles.
