Hi Tide Dispensary provides safe alternatives to traditional pharmaceuticals, and compassionate care to patients suffering from serious medical conditions. The dispensary is licensed by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
Bob Davis, the clinical director at Hi Tide, has a long history in pharmacy and is passionate about providing patients with the highest quality care available. He focuses on a patient’s individual needs, educating them on the different strains of cannabis and helping them select which one will work best for them.
Licensed by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC)
The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) has issued license pre-approvals for companies that will grow, process and dispense medical marijuana. The pre-awardees are still working through the second stage of the approval process, which involves undergoing criminal background investigations, completing regulatory requirements and securing local zoning approvals.
Once approved, each company must register with the MMCC and provide a detailed operation plan. It must also include information about the principal officer and director of the dispensary.
Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a licensed Maryland medical cannabis doctor. They must pay a $50 application fee to the commission at the time of application.
Once a patient receives their written certification from a registered provider, they will be given a MMCC-issued ID card that will allow them to purchase medical marijuana from any of the state’s licensed dispensaries. However, a patient’s certification will become null and void if it is not used within 120 days of issuance.

Medicinal Grade Cannabis
Medicinal cannabis is a product that is produced from the cannabis plant (also known as marijuana). It contains chemicals that can help relieve symptoms of certain medical conditions.
Typically, medicinal cannabis products contain the cannabinoids THC and CBD. THC is the chemical that gets you high, while CBD has no intoxicating effects and can treat a range of symptoms.
In order to access a state-licensed dispensary, you must have a medical marijuana card. This card is valid for a certain period of time and varies from state to state.
If you do not have a card, you can get one from the MMCC or your physician. The doctor must certify that you have a qualifying condition and that you can benefit from medicinal cannabis.
Medicinal grade cannabis is closely monitored to ensure it is safe for patients. This includes testing for pesticides and cannabinoid potency. It also involves maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Fortunately, there are many quality-focused dispensaries across the United States.
