KBIC is planning to open two marijuana dispensaries in Crystal Falls and Marquette Township. The first one will be located at 32 Superior Street, in the old shoe store building. The second is planned for the former Ojibwa Express gas station in Marquette. KBIC plans to spend about $300,000 renovating the building. Keweenaw Bay Indian Community has allocated about $4 million in capital expenditures to build two dispensaries, which will include growing operations.
